Danville Community High School

The girls kicked off their first meet of the season last night in a double-dual meet against Greencastle and North Montgomery. It was an outstanding start, and our team showed just how much progress they’ve made already. Compared to the same point last season, almost every swimmer matched or improved their times, a strong sign of the work they’ve put in during season training so far. We picked up the win over Greencastle 120 : 61 and came up short against North Montgomery 74 : 110, but the energy, competitiveness, and early-season speed were all extremely promising. The following athletes earned event wins and/or posted personal-best times: Ameila – [50 Free - Win] Cianni – [Diving - Win] Maddie – [100 Free - Win] Lillian – [100 Free - PB] Nikki – [Dive - PB] Toree – [100 Free Relay - PB] This meet set a strong foundation for the season. The girls are hungry, focused, and ready to keep building.
